8am to 10am – Booth and Exhibit set-up 10am to 6pm – Solar Fiesta! (workshops and booth exhibits)
Booth Exhibits are free (except for a $2
parking fee) All workshops free to conference goers – General Public pays $5.00 each. All presentations in the Lecture Hall free including the 5-minute talks, innovative looks at international solar applications by students from the University of Arizona, an overview of Women in Solar by Marlene Brown and a presentation on La Semilla del Sol by New Mexico State Land Commissioner Ray Powell.
6pm-8pm Take
down booths and exhibits
7pm-10pm Dinner and
Party at Los Amigos Roundup! ($20-pay at conference) Sunday, October 1st
10am to noon – NMSEA Annual General Membership Meeting
Includes election of the 2000-2001 Board of Directors Noon
to 1pm- Luncheon sponsored by the New Mexico Solar Energy Industries Association
1pm to 1:15pm-Changing Attitudes by Dr. William Gross 1:15pm to 3pm
–Marketing Green Power and Sustainable Buildings in New Mexico –
identification of markets and marketing tools. Keynote speaker Joan Rosley-Griffin,
President of Griffin and Associates Marketing.
1pm to 3pm – Committee meetings including hiring Executive Assistant.
3:30pm-5:30pm- Grassroots are Greener
A community-based Approach to Marketing Green Power. Keynote Speaker Susan Innis, Green Marketing Program
coordinator for the Land and Water Fund of the Rockies explores methods of
encouraging local utility companies and government agencies to go green.
6pm – Closing Remarks by Ben Luce, Chairman, NMSEA
